Dancing tango is an experience for all the senses. The Art Nouveau Hotel offers you a two and a half day tango workshop weekend in its stylish, historic rooms. A good opportunity to expand your own "tango skills" and to exchange ideas with tango lovers from all over the world. After all, Berlin is the number one tango metropolis in Europe.

Tango in all its variations is danced everywhere in the German capital - in ballrooms and salons, in restaurants and clubs. Besides the tango, the popular standard dance is the Tango Argentino, the original form of dance that developed mainly in Buenos Aires and conquered the world.

The two tango coaches at the Art Nouveau Hotel are experienced tango teachers and passionate tango dancers.

Asnat Ricardo was a student and assistant of the famous Rodolfo Dinzel in Buenos Aires. And her partner Frank Bernhauer has also learned from various tango masters around the world over the past 25 years.

Our tango weekend is the ideal introduction to tango. From Friday to Sunday we dedicate a whole weekend to the basics of Tango Argentino. But even dancers with some experience can polish and consolidate their basics here.

We work intensively in small groups and in a relaxed atmosphere. We learn the right posture and the hug, the first steps and basic figures of tango. Then you can feel the fascination of tango and indulge in the strong emotions of this sensual and elegant dance.

Tango Location Hotel Art Nouveau in Berlin-Charlottenburg

The Hotel Art Nouveau invites you to the tango workshops in its tastefully furnished conference rooms. These form the perfect setting for your tango experience in the heart of Berlin. And the wood-panelled Berliner Herrenzimmer, which connects the two conference rooms, is ideal for a "come-together".
The Hotel Art Nouveau is located in the heart of the city, in Charlottenburg, a popular district in western Berlin.

The owner-managed hotel offers you typical Berlin flair: guests can reach the reception in the historic lift. The hotelier Ingo Bethke took over the hotel in April 2016 and made it shine in new splendor. You can choose from 21 individually designed hotel rooms including two suites, a study and two conference rooms for meetings and receptions. Stucco ceilings, floorboards and select antiques meet a select contemporary interior that is a Farrow & brings the ball color concept to its best advantage. The walls are decorated with contemporary art.

Start the morning with a lovingly prepared organic breakfast. In the evening, the roof terrace of the art nouveau building invites you to a sun downer, here you can also relax and enjoy one of the art nouveau wines selected with great competence at the house bar.
The traditional and the modern also meet in the immediate vicinity of the hotel: with the Schaubühne, the Theater des Westens, the Delphi cinema or the Quasimodo jazz club. Not far away, night owls will find the legendary Paris Bar or the Austrian Ottenthal, representative of the many international delights that can be discovered in Charlottenburg.
